Today after classes we all went home for dinner and what not then headed back into town to watch "La Princesse et La Grenouille" (The Princess and the Frog). We were all planning on meeting up but we were only able to find about half of our group since so many people showed up the the park to watch the movie. After playing some frisbee (and being surprised at spotting an American flag flying high in French territory) we settled down to watched the movie. It must have just been one of those days, but when the movie came on in French I was somewhat surprised...I have no idea what I was expecting it to be in.
As the movie went on, I felt like I could do a pretty good job understanding what was being said and what was happening (at least better then the tree/kid/wolf movie from the night before). I can already tell that my comprehension has improved so much! It makes me feel very accomplished (that is until I try and understand the teenagers...no one knows what they are saying). It was a fun night. Matt, Jake, Ali, Natasha and me had such a fun night sitting and enjoying a movie in French. (It didnt hurt that it was free! lol)
